If anyone knows that hard work pays off, it’s Chris Ayer, a 2006 winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
Chris Ayer, originally from northern California, felt so strongly about his passion for music that he eventually moved to New York City to further develop his musical talents. His pursuits came to fruition when he submitted his song, “Evaporate,” as an entry to the John Lennon Songwriting Contest three years ago. As K. Oliver from the West Columbia Free Times in South Carolina reports, Ayer’s song is “a confessional piece of soul-bearing that looks outward as much as inward.”
Now, Chris Ayer continues in his musical endeavors by composing and performing new works. Best of luck, Chris!
